In this workshop, participants will gain a clear understanding of sustainable construction and its implication within the legal framework and the ministry of works. The workshop covers key things to consider at the design and planning stage of a project in order to incorporate sustainable construction principle, including choice of material. Additionally, the workshop will introduce participants to environmental management system (EMS) and review their effectiveness in the construction context and their role in achieving environment standard and performance.

TRAINING METHODOLOGY
The training methodology combines lectures, discussions, group exercises and illustrations. Participants will gain both theoretical and practical knowledge of the topics.
